InvitationAI (invitationai.in) is operated by Nexvaya Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website to create personalised video invitations, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using invitationai.in, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

a) Account information. When you register or log in: your name, email address and/or mobile number, and your password (stored in encrypted/hashed form — we cannot read it).

b) Invitation content you provide. To build your video we collect what you type or upload while customising a template — for example names of the couple or family members, parents' names, event dates and times, venue names and addresses, personal messages, photos, and background music files.

c) Order and payment information. Order/invitation IDs, amount, payment status and transaction references. Payments are processed by our payment partner Cashfree Payments. Your card, UPI, net-banking or wallet credentials are entered on the payment gateway and are not stored on our servers.

d) Referral and withdrawal details. If you use our referral programme, we keep referral/earning records, and when you request a withdrawal, the payout details you share with us (such as UPI or bank details and contact number) so that we can complete the payout.

e) Technical and usage information. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and session identifiers, collected automatically to keep the site working, secure and to diagnose problems.

f) Communications. Messages you send to our support team or through the Contact page.

2. How we use your information

• To create your account and let you log in.
• To generate your watermarked preview and, after payment, your final HD video (and optional PDF), and to let you download it.
• To process payments, confirm orders, issue refunds and prevent fraud or misuse.
• To run the referral programme and process payout requests.
• To provide customer support, and to deliver "Expert Create" orders where our team prepares the video for you.
• To send service messages such as order confirmations and status updates.
• To improve our templates, website performance and user experience.
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We use your information only for these purposes and we do not sell your personal data.

3. Your invitation content & videos

The details and media you enter are used only to produce your invitation. Preview and final videos are generated for your account and are not listed publicly on our website. Authorised members of our team may access your content when needed to provide support, fix a technical problem or complete an Expert Create order. The final video file is yours to download and share as you wish — please remember that once you share it, we cannot control who sees it.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only where it is necessary to run the service:

• Payment partner — Cashfree Payments, to process your payment and refunds.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store data and run video rendering.
• Analytics / service tools — to understand how the website is used, where we use such tools.
• Authorities and legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
• Business transfers — if our business is merged, acquired or restructured, your data may be transferred to the successor, subject to this policy.

These providers may process data only to perform services for us and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies/sessions to keep you logged in and to remember your customisation progress (for example, if you fill in details before logging in, we temporarily hold them so they are not lost after you log in). We also use your browser's local storage to save your draft entries on your own device. You can clear cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time; the site may not work properly without essential cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Invitation content and generated videos are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and support you (for example, so you can re-download or edit your invitation). Order and payment records are kept for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal rules. You can ask us to delete your account and associated content (see "Your rights"), subject to records we must retain by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please keep your login details confidential.

8. Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (you can also edit your invitation details from the customise page).
• Ask us to delete your personal data / account.
• Withdraw consent you have given for processing, where processing is based on consent.

9. Children

Our service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children to create accounts. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. If we make significant changes, we will notify you on the website. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
